Institute for Catalysis (ICAT), Hokkaido University, Japan invites applications for the academic position of Assistant Professor to be submitted according to the following instructions:

　

１．Position Details Assistant Professorship. The first term is five years. Reappointment for a second five-year term is possible based on an evaluation of his/her achievements in the first term. 2．Division and Department Macromolecular Science Research Division, Department of Fundamental Research (Prof. Tamaki Nakano) 3．Research Area and Scope of Work Research and development of polymers, polymer reactions, and polymerization methodologies with the ultimate goal of creating novel catalytic materials and reactions. Applicants with a strong background in polymer science, materials science, and organic chemistry will be favorably considered. 4．Expected Start Date November 1st, 2016 5．Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. 6．Documents to Submit Applicants are requested to submit a complete dossier containing information in items (1) to (6) below in both paper and electronic formats.
