3.Research Area and Scope of Work
|
The position entails broad knowledge of theoretical chemistry as it relates to
elucidating the fundamentals of catalysis and establishment of the rational design of
catalysts. Applications are welcome from highly motivated scholars that can develop
a new academic field as a leader of the next generation.

4.Expected Start Date
|
July 1, 2015 (The earliest possible day after July 1, 2015)
|
5.Minimum Qualifications
|
(1) Ph.D. (As of June 30, 2015, applicants are required to possess a Ph.D. degree)
(Applicants without Ph.D. degree are requested to submit a certificate from
supervisors for a Ph.D. degree expected until June 30, 2015.)
(2) English language ability is required.

6.Documents to Submit
|
Applicants should submit the following items on A4 paper (or equivalent) in any
format:
(1) Curriculum vitae (including picture, date of birth, nationality, current address,
contact information, educational history after high school, degrees acquired,
qualifications, employment history )
(2) Research achievements should be categorized into the following types: a)
refereed original papers, b) patents, c) reviews and commentaries, d) books, e)
invited lectures, f) grants awarded (main author only) and g) honors awarded.
(3) Offprints (or photocopies) of three journal publications accomplished by three
copies of each journal publication
(4) Brief of research to date (approximately 2,000 words)
(5) Plan for research and education if appointed (approximately 2,000 words)
(6) Two references (name, institution, tel., e-mail)
