This study investigates ethanol synthesis from CO₂ and H₂ using Ru/CoOx and CuPd/C as nano-anode and nano-cathode catalysts, respectively.
The findings indicate that a mixed-potential-driven mechanism enables the coupled reactions leading to ethanol formation.
